Mr. Siddique is a working professional and a full time student. His areas of interest include Accounting, Business, Law, and Political Science. He loves political activism, volunteering, and working with our local youth to build a solid foundation for their future. His hobbies include martial arts training and automotives.
Aaron is a third year business student, working as a Teaching Assistant, and is well known around the business school for going the extra mile to help other students. Aaron’s time off is spent with his family at home, or visiting relatives who live nearby.
Mr. Qasqas has over 14 years of experience working intensely with Muslim youth and families. He has a BA in Psychology, Bachelor of Professional Arts in Criminal Justice, Masters degree in Counselling Psychology, and he is currently a PhD student at the UCalgary with a research focus on Muslim leadership.
Duaa is an active Own IT Board Member who takes part in event organization. Her passion towards helping others and wanting to inspire today’s youth are what made Own IT catch her attention.
Fatima Siddique is a working professional with over 12 years of experience in the field of business management, accounting and taxation. She is also working toward a PhD in Management with specialization in Accounting. Fatima is an avid volunteer and organizer and takes part in a number of charitable initiatives.
Fadi is a PhD graduate and he is currently a post doctoral at the university of Calgary. Fadi is a board member at Own It institute of Canada and has been involved in various Own It mentorship programs.
Maha is PhD students at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology, SFU working on visualization and collaborative interactions. She has worked for 5 years as software engineer before moving to research. Maha has also more than 10 years of experience in volunteer work with non profit and charity organizations.
Iris is currently studying in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program, Iris is originally from Bangladesh and lived in Saudi Arabia for several years with her family before moving to Calgary to study.
